About Mission Basketball

YOUTH & ADULT MENS COMPETITIVE LEAGUE

Mission Basketball, a non-profit dedicated to growing basketball and life skills, approached me with a vision, to bring new life to the foundation they built in their community. The founders and Head Coaches of Mission Basketball had already established a name for themselves by winning multiple trophies, awards and competitions nationally both individually and with their teams.

With years of experience coaching kids and adults of all ages with clear success, it was time to build a new identity that spoke to their values, story, and culture of striving for the best, giving your full effort and giving back to your community.

A Brand Redesign

LEGACY ROOTS, MODERN REVIVAL

I created a clean, professional, and elite brand identity for the basketball league, built around bold athletic aesthetics and modern basketball elements. The logo features the town name Mission in a strong, stylized font, designed in a badge-style mark that feels authoritative and instantly recognizable. The identity system was crafted to look sharp and consistent across all applications, from jerseys and bags to water bottles, signage, and digital media.

Responsibilities (short-list):

  • Designed the primary Riverside badge-style logo and supporting marks

  • Integrated basketball elements for a modern athletic identity

  • Built a complete brand system including colors, typography, and usage rules

  • Produced versatile assets optimized for apparel, merchandise, and print

  • Created mockups and brand visuals for league-wide rollout

Web Design & Development

ANDROID + IOS APP, WEB

I designed and developed a complete digital platform for a basketball league, creating a central hub for players, teams, and organizers. The site featured class and program signup links, multimedia content, league information, and a streamlined registration experience. Built-in tools for the crew included team management, schedule updates, and automated season score tracking and rankings, giving the league a professional online presence and an easy way to manage operations.

  • Created registration flows, class signup links, and payment pathways

  • Developed team management pages, schedules, and roster sections

  • Implemented season score tracking, standings, and ranking displays

Jersey & Gear Design

BUILT TO LAST

I created a cohesive collection of jerseys, bags, and bottles that elevated the league’s visual identity and strengthened team pride. Each item was designed with bold graphics, clean typography, and functional considerations tailored to athletes. The collection balanced performance, durability, and style while maintaining a consistent brand look across all gear.

I produced a full range of print and digital marketing materials to support promotions, events, and brand campaigns. This included flyers, posters, social graphics, and multi-format digital content designed for clarity, impact, and brand consistency. Every asset was built to communicate the message quickly, attract attention, and perform across both physical and online channels.
