CHRONIC HUB CANNABIS

LOCALLY OWNED, LEGACY GROWN

About Chronic Hub

SERVING KITS WITH QUALITY CRAFT

Chronic Hub, a legacy brand with fresh ownership and vision, sought to revitalize their identity for the modern era. Their mission was clear; provide the Kitsilano community with clean, potent and quality craft cannabis from local, legacy growers before expanding their reach.

With a flagship store based in Greek Town, Kitsilano, Chronic Hub is all about culture and consistency. Their focus on product knowledge, high-demand stocked items and customer service focused values quickly made them the major shop in Kits with new locations coming soon across BC.

A Brand Redesign

LEGACY ROOTS, MODERN REVIVAL

I transformed the old ‘Chronic Hub’ into a modern, upscale brand with a fine scotch appeal, catering to cannabis connoisseurs looking for premium craft product. The new identity had to build on the old as an evolution, cleaner, bolder, cooler.

Our collaboration involved designing their logo, brand identity, apparel, and web development. The logo keeps elements of BC’s nature, smoke and an abstract badge shape. I consulted closely with the team and helped design Chronic Hub’s retail atmosphere and experience.

Platform Development
& 3rd Party Integrations

HOMEBASE & CANNABIS ECOMMERCE

I designed and built the full brand homepage, creating a high-end digital experience that showcased the company’s identity, products, and story. The platform seamlessly connected to third-party systems for e-commerce, age-gated compliance, and province-wide cannabis delivery. I handled the entire front-end and back-end implementation, ensuring smooth functionality, consistent design, and a cohesive customer journey from landing to checkout. The only external component was the custom third-party plugin developed by an outside partner.

Responsibilities Short-list:

  • Designed and built the full brand website from concept to deployment

  • Integrated third-party e-commerce, compliance, and delivery systems

  • Configured age-gating, secure checkout flows, and product catalog setup

  • Handled UX, UI, content layout, and responsive design across all devices

  • Managed technical setup, hosting, performance, and platform optimization

  • Coordinated with the external plugin team to ensure seamless integration

Digital & Retail Marketing

AN ECOSYSTEM OF EFFECTIVE EXPOSURE

I developed a unified digital and retail marketing strategy that elevated brand presence across online channels and in-store touchpoints. This included building campaigns, managing budgets, producing creative assets, and coordinating retail activations that connected the brand experience across web, social, email, events, and physical locations. Every initiative was designed to drive awareness, conversion, and customer engagement while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.

Responsibilities Short-list:

  • Planned and executed digital campaigns across social, search, and email

  • Managed budgets, analytics, and performance reporting

  • Created end-to-end marketing assets for web, retail displays, print, and events

  • Built content calendars, promotional materials, and product launch campaigns

  • Coordinated retail activations, in-store signage, and point-of-sale materials

  • Optimized customer journey from online discovery to in-store purchase

Gear & Packaging Design

BUILT TO LAST

I led the design and development of retail packaging and branded gear that elevated product presence both in-store and online. This included creating distinct packaging systems, sub-brands, and apparel collections that enhanced shelf appeal, strengthened brand identity, and supported merchandising strategies. Every piece was designed for clarity, compliance, visual impact, and manufacturability across multiple product lines.

Key Goals:

  • Designed retail packaging systems and sub-brands for multiple product categories

  • Created apparel, merchandise, and branded gear for retail and promotional use

  • Developed dielines, print-ready files, and production specs

  • Ensured compliance with cannabis packaging regulations and label requirements

  • Directed photography, mockups, and presentation materials for product launches

  • Worked with printers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure accurate production
